Enel Bursary and Skills Development

Enel Group Power RSA has undertaken numerous activities and processes in pursuit of achieving Economic Development obligations under the Implementation Agreement including:

The pursuit to achieve Economic Development through Bursaries and Skills Development opportunities. As such EGP RSA is inviting young well deserving and financially needy South Africans within its community of operations to apply for the 2024 Bursaries and Skills Development.

Qualification requirements

In order to qualify for the Bursary and Skills Development opportunity, one must meet the below requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Must be residing within 50km of Enel Sites namely, Garob Wind Farm, Pulida Energy, Sublunary Trading, Soetwater Wind Farm and Karusa Wind Farm.
  • For a tertiary bursary, one must have an acceptance letter from a South African registered university.
  • For a tertiary bursary, one must have an overall average pass mark of 55% at matric level for first year students.
  • For a tertiary bursary continuation, one must have an overall average pass mark of 65% for their current academic year.
  • A family household annual income of less than R 250,000.00.
