Learning Outcomes:

Learners will have the opportunity to acquire the following skills:

  • The fundamentals of development practices
  • Setting quality and competency standards within the field
  • Establishing and understanding skills development objectives nationally and within companies and organizations
  • Maintaining external and internal ODETD levels across 5 key ETD roles in a generalist capacity, with the opportunity to specialize further in one of the following four roles:
    • Design and develop learning interventions.
    • Facilitate learning.
    • Design and conduct assessments.
    • Facilitate skills development.

  • Fundamental: all 10 credits for Communications.
  • Core: all 61 Core credits.
  • Elective: any 49 of the 116 Elective credits.
